If your phone is newer than these, it's covered

Once a manufacturer adds eSIM to a product line, every later model keeps it — even if the exact name isn't listed.

The one guaranteed way

Check the phone itself

Model lists can miss carrier-locked or region-specific variants. With the phone in hand, this is certain — on any phone, dial *#06#: if an EID number appears, it supports eSIM. Or look in Settings:

iPhone

  1. Open Settings → Cellular
  2. Look for Add eSIM
  3. If it's there, you're set

Android

  1. Open Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs
  2. Tap Add SIM
  3. Look for Download a SIM instead

Also: carrier-unlocked

Your phone must be unlocked to use another network's eSIM. Not sure? Ask your current carrier before you travel.
